Dementia Respite Care
The Northern Arizona Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance (NAZADA) is a dedicated coalition of healthcare and community service professionals and family members committed to supporting individuals with Alzheimer's and related dementias. Comprehensive Alzheimer’s Support
• Support Groups: support and resources for caregivers and families with Alzheimer's and dementia.
• Educational Programs: Providing educational opportunities to enhance understanding and management of Alzheimer's and dementia.
• Memory Café: A safe and supportive environment for individuals with dementia and their caregivers to socialize.
Respite Care
NAZADA provides information and resources about respite care services designed to offer temporary relief to primary caregivers. This service is crucial for those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's, allowing them to take a necessary break while ensuring their loved ones receive professional care. Respite care services may include:
• IN-HOME RESPITE CARE
• ADULT DAYCARE CENTERS
• RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES THAT OFFER SHORT-TERM STAYS
Respite Care Application
If the request for respite care is approved, recipient will receive 16 hours of care to be used for 4 consecutive hours per week over 4 consecutive weeks. We may call you to complete the application process. If awarded, recipient has 120 days from the date of approval to use the respite hours.
